    St. John's University offers group tours for up to 30 prospective students in grades 9-12 and their chaperones limited capacity. Tours are offered on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 10:30 AM. This tour is a walking tour led by a University Student Ambassador.

    Chaperone Information

    Please provide the name and contact information of each chaperone that will be attending the visit. One chaperone is required for every ten students to ensure that each tour group has an adult with them.

    Group Visit Selection

    Group tours are offered Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 10:30 AM. 
    Due to the University's schedule, some dates may not be available for selection.

    St. John's University is typically only able to accommodate group tours on most Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Special requests may not be able to be accommodated, but information for a self-guided visit to campus will be provided.

    Group Visit Agreement

    In order to complete the reservation process, we ask that you carefully read our Group Visit Agreement below and check the appropriate box.
    • It is the responsibility of the chaperones to attend the campus tour with their students. A chaperone is required for every ten students visiting.
    • Visiting students must conduct themselves respectfully while on campus. Disruptive behavior is not permitted. Admission staff members and student ambassadors reserve the right to terminate a campus visit should disruptive behavior occur.
    • Group members should not use any electronic devices during their visit.
    • All groups must submit a list of attending students for us to account for all attendees. St. John's will provide a spreadsheet to be returned no later than 48 hours before your visit.
    • For your comfort, groups should dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.
    • Cancellation of visits must occur at least 24 hours in advance by both email (visit@stjohns.edu) and phone (718-990-6238).
    • Notify the Office of Admissions by phone at 718-990-6238 if a late arrival to the tour is anticipated. Sessions may need to be adjusted or canceled for groups arriving more than 15 minutes late to the tour.
    • The Office of Admission is not responsible for transportation to and/or from the university.
    • The university does not offer and/or provide on-campus dining.
