    Melissa Mirabella's Upcoming Schedule

    Melissa Mirabella
Associate Director, Transfer Admission and Advising
    mirabelm@stjohns.edu

Territory you recruit in: Queens, New York

How many years have you worked in admission: 10 Years

Favorite thing about St. John’s University: The campus. It is truly a beautiful setting to learn, work and live.

Advice you would give to a student applying to St. John’s University: Be yourself. Transfer applicants may experience the academic journey differently than first year applicants.  The journey comes with its ups and downs. Embrace it and we will be sure to take notice.

Favorite spot-on campus to have lunch: Law School Dining

Advice you would give to a student who have been accepted to St. John’s and what they should take advantage of as a transfer student:  The abundance of resources including tutoring, the writing center and career advisement. Try to get involved and join a club. Try to find something you are passionate about (even if it is one thing) and make it part of your weekly schedule.
