Years in Admissions: This is my first year working as an Admissions Counselor.
Favorite Thing about St. John’s University: Definitely the location! St. John’s is located in Queens, which is one of the most diverse counties in the United States. A true traditional campus based in a suburban community while being so close to Manhattan. It’s the best of both worlds!
Advice you would give to a student applying to St. John’s University: Come to Open House! You will have the opportunity to take a tour, sit in on presentations and meet with Faculty/Deans. This will help you see if St. John’s is the right fit and which program seems best for you to pursue.
Favorite spot-on campus to have lunch: Marillac Hall Terrace
Advice you would give to a student who has been accepted to St. John’s and what they should take advantage of as a first-year student: Please attend Accepted Student Day. It’s a blast! As an incoming first-year student, attend the Explore & More Summer events where you can meet other new Johnnies.
